This high-profile local project required demolition of existing foundation left from the original office area and warehouse which had been destroyed by fire. The new structure is a fully sprinkled 10,000 square foot, two-story structural steel office building with brick exterior adjoining an 8,000 square foot pre-engineered metal building expansion of the existing production warehouse. The warehouse was originally classified as an Explosion Proof High Hazard Occupancy, which required all fixtures and equipment to be explosion proof, but with the addition of a dust collection system, the classification was reduced to an F-1 Moderate Hazard Occupancy, allowing us to install non-explosion proof and less expensive fixtures and equipment.
