Lincoln Builders of Baton Rouge recently completed the expansion of LSU’s Hilltop Arboretum. This project is the LSU System’s first LEED-certified building. The project more than doubles the existing meeting space and will feature the Beverly Brown Coates Auditorium, as well as a warming kitchen. Also included in the new facility is a courtyard which anchors the education facility to the existing open-air pavilion. As well as for educational programming, the new structure will also host fundraising events and is the final piece of a 1999 master building plan by Lake Flato Architects of San Antonio, Texas.
