Overlooking scenic Bayou DeSiard, this award-winning facility is the signature building on the campus. At seven-stories tall, the 210,000 square foot facility is centrally located on the campus and bridges the academic buildings and residential/athletic facilities. With University administration located on the sixth floor and a conference center on the seventh floor, all remaining floors provide space for up to 1,000,000 volumes. The facility has a fully equipped computer lab, media presentation/studio room, bibliographic instruction room, study/meeting rooms, and an expanded Special Collections area.
